The large-scale project continues-
The second phase of Kisvárda’s largest shopping mall is to be built by Dryvit Profi

Kisvárda meglévő és tervezett épület

Currently, the Várda Market Shopping Center, which we constructed and handed over in the fall of 2022, serves the public across more than 3,000 square meters, featuring international brands. The mall offers everything from sportswear and electronics to drugstore items in its stores.

Good news for customers: this autumn, more popular brands will move into the shopping park, and we are truly honored that Várda Market Ltd., the developer, has entrusted our company with expanding the existing commercial center.

On the nearly 28,000 m2 property, we are carrying out construction works over 10,000 m2 in the second phase. This includes the construction of a commercial center with three new retail units, as well as a KFC restaurant with roads, parking lots, and external utilities.

Project manager Attila Koroknai stated that construction began with the foundation work for the KFC building after the site handover in November 2024. This was followed by the above-ground, on-site reinforced concrete structural work. Under the reinforced slab, the water and sewage base installations, as well as the building’s electrical cables, were laid, and the electrical ground cables for the buildings and the entire area’s lighting were also installed. As the year ended, soil stabilization was applied to the nearly 14,000 m2 area, allowing us to start the year with a load-bearing subsoil. The project is progressing according to schedule and will soon reach a significant phase, as the prefabricated reinforced concrete frame structure will be assembled on-site, bringing the shopping center and the KFC building to structural completion in three weeks, added On-Site Manager Csaba Karika.

Since its opening in September 2022, the Várda Market Shopping Park, built by Dryvit Profi Kft., has enjoyed uninterrupted popularity among customers.

As part of the second phase, we are constructing a new shopping center with an area of 3,214 m², which includes three retail units, alongside the existing Várda Market Shopping Park. Additionally, a 376 m² KFC restaurant will also be built. A few weeks ago, this is what the construction site looked like.
